We’ve created a special Olympic Games Pack the whole family can enjoy this summer that includes:
- Outside Olympic Games – compete against each other and score your points in our chart! It includes a 25-metre sprint, long jump, tug of war and more! Will you win gold?
- Going for Gold Trail – can you find the gold medals hidden around our Cornwall Gold site and answer the quiz questions correctly to win a prize?
- Activity sheet – relax in our award-winning Pantry and enjoy our summer colouring-in sheet, quiz, word search and more!

From the 5th of July, we will be serving up our iconic Breakfast on a Shovel – Olympic-sized! That means three of everything! Will you eat it all or share it? Limited time only so be quick.
Olympic Breakfast on a Shovel, £19.95 includes 3 Cornish sausages, 3 rashers of smoked bacon, 3 hogs pudding, 3 hash browns, grilled tomato, flat mushroom, a bowl of baked beans, 2 fried eggs and 2 slices of toast!!

Have Fun With Our Free Panning for Gold!
This undercover activity is perfect for all ages, and all weather! Discover treasures and gems in our free Tolgus Stream Panning where you can sift sand with a traditional pan and look for gold, while cooling off along the way!
Take a Break From the Beach
If you’ve had enough sand between your toes, why not come and enjoy our free 10,000ft exhibition and learn all about Cornwall’s rich milling history? You will also get to see ingenious machinery, dress up as a tin miller or Bal Maiden and discover stories and historical artefacts.
Bring the Dog!
The Tolgus Trail can start (or end) at Cornwall Gold and is a 2.2-mile flat, off-road walk that will take you along farmland down to the beautiful village of Portreath. Perfect for a sunny day.
You can park for free at Cornwall Gold, enjoy the walk there and back and end your time with a cream tea in the Cornish Pantry! It’s certainly one way to tire out the kids!
